Every day when I collect eggs I mark on the calendar how many I got for that day. We have 21 chickens but 15 are of laying age. The number has been going up and up, 6-8 per day, 7-9 per day. I keep telling DH that pretty soon I'm going to be able to mark 15 and yes, I'll be super excited.
Darned close today.
15 chickens of age to lay and collected 13 eggs today!
