I know I'm going to end up leaving stuff out since it's been so long. Ugh.
And S - yes, some of those puppets are REALLY scary looking! lol. There are easily 50 or more of those things there.
OK - we were asked to mark with a post it note anything we were interested in having from the house. I'm going to attempt to put up some pics of the inside of the house. There wasn't much that (IMO) anyone would really want, grandpa's 'inventions' had ruined much of the furniture and mostly it was (again, IMO) junk everywhere. Some family members did have some collectable type stuff that they wanted.
You'll see (in no particular order - lol) the dining room area, the stacks of magazines that take up entire walls of bookshelves in several rooms, the once nice bed that grandpa drilled thru and nailed boards onto to so he could try and rig a light to blink if someone rang the front doorbell, the (to all of us) hilarious carpet that is in their guest room. Grandpa was a RIGID Baptist preacher - no even talking about dancing, drinking, gambling, etc. Can you see what's on that carpet? We all laugh every time we see it. There is also a picture of a really old marriage license that we found in a box - from the 1800s!
